Console Gamers are so Judgmental

December 31, 2011 by

I believe "PC gaming is dying" is a cop-out; scapegoat for those who are naive on the subject. The foolishness needs to stop. Knowledge is power and once you get in the know, then you can have an opinion on PC gaming. A lot of games which at first were PC exclusives were influenced for consoles, yes that's where most gamers are at the moment, that because people think you have to use a mouse and keyboard (which is in fact the worst way to play a video game besides Minecraft) for all of the games, or the fact that what's on the console is more enticing than what's on the PC.

Dead Island: Survival Guide

Most of the strategies listed if not all should already common knowledge but if they're then you came to the right blog. I just finished beating Dead Island and figured I could be of some help with some that are frustrated. I could have completed the game long before now but that recent update that was released ruined my save file, thus causing me to start over from scratch. Which I'm glad I did because I ran across a few things I missed the first time.

“I’m a Female Gamer & Everyone is Out to Get Me!”

I love that saying "I can show you better than I can tell you". So don't get on the mic menstruating because that's what they want. Get them where it hurts them the most, in their pride. If you suck though, I would just stick to menstruating on the mic.

Dead Island: Micro-stuttering Solution

The micro-stuttering is caused by the keyboard input for many of us. For example, the game microstutters whenever you use your keyboard [especially for movement]. The game could be running at 60 fps but would look choppy and more like 30 fps. Again, only when using the keyboard and most noticeable when strafing.

The Sims Medieval: List of Bugs, Errors, & Glitches

Some of these errors believe it or not, some of you if not most of you are very familiar with. [Although this game is really unique from The Sims 3, they're just the same in some areas] This is a completely different version of the same engine so I guess there would be some of the same issues. They've released patches of course and guess what? They did not work...for most. Well here's the list. Feel free to add to it in the comments below. If you have solutions, you can post those as well.

- Remove all your mods and cc (especially mods) - Make sure, your Sims are not on vacation in any neighborhood you plan on playing with in the future - Make sure your Sims are not sleeping (can make the beds unusable) - Remove any LAA/ 4GB Patch you did to your game (if you don't know what that is, you haven't done it). If will probably get an invalid file error if you don't remove it. - Remove all your mods from your game (yes, right, already said that) - Make a copy of all your user files (the whole folder in documents) to an external hard drive.

I will help and provide solutions/possible fixes for the ones that I can, your best bet is to just wait for a patch/fix/update from EA. Sorry. Some of these errors can simply be fixed by removing mods and custom content [not made by EA] and that's if you have any of it installed.

Left 4 Dead ‘The Sacrifice’ Trailer

September 30, 2010 by

This is by far the best Video game trailer ever. Left 4 Dead - er I mean Valve did good with this one. So much was said with no words. My eyes got huge when I saw those three tanks. I sat on the edge of my seat when Bill ran towards them with a molotov, I was feeling like Zoey when the camera was veered towards her. I said "no Bill". Lol, Valve should make a movie.
