I was just reading this Cleveland Plain Dealer article on Cleveland.com about two brothers who was just walking home when some gang called the Lakeshore Boys shot and killed one of the brothers and wounded another.

Brandon Young and his younger brother knew they were in trouble when they heard the homemade rap song of the Lakeshore Boys blaring from the car that had eased up beside them.The song is the gang’s calling card. They played it just before shooting Brandon in the back Saturday, said his brother, Shaquille Perry, 16. Brandon — a senior at Early College High School at John Hay — died early Thursday.

I never understood that. Why is it the good ones that get killed and the world is left with people full of hatred and evil? If there is a God and he so called figured that his/her/it need him up there as his/her/it’s “angel”; I would have to say God is pretty damn cruel, and selfish. The people that need to be wiped off the face of this earth are Child Molesters, Rapists, Predators and Gangs.

“Brandon shoved me and said, ‘Run,’ and I did,” Shaquille said. “I ran to the side of a house and heard two more shots and the gun clicking. Then I heard Brandon say, ‘Where’s my little brother?’ I ran over to him and saw a hole in his back.”

You will always read in an article when someone young gets killed how he/she was a good kid and that he/she never bothered anyone. Why is that? Why can’t I read about a truck load of child molesters getting stuck on a train track right as the gates go down and a few seconds before the train comes? Life isn’t fair but this is really unfair, kids with a future; life get cut short because of some stupid ass gang.

I live in Cleveland, Ohio and this is what we called “news” on a daily basis here. Most if not all news like this brings to tears to my eyes, not sad ones but angry ones. I’m so sick of this shit and no amount of change in the justice system or no matter how many law enforcements you get to patrol a dangerous neighborhood; you’re always going to hear about an innocent kid getting killed.

I don’t think I’ll be having kids. I don’t want my kids growing up knowing that all to life is to watch your back and don’t say the wrong things to the wrong people. Having to live in fear and sleep with caution because a bullet just might come whizzing through your wall wounding you.

What’s so pathetic is, recent studies showed that Cleveland, Ohio is one [top 10] of the safest cities in the nation. How did we manage to get on such a list? Cleveland, Ohio is the opposite of safe. You can’t even sit at a stop light without someone killing you and taking your vehicle for a joy-ride. Hell, you can’t walk up and down your street in any time of the day when you got people like Anthony Sowell prowling the streets, luring you into their home, just to rape you, strangle you with a cord, then burying you in the backyard or stuffing you behind a wall. Yes, all of the things I just mentioned has happened in the “one of the most safest cities in the nation” here in Cleveland, Ohio; the mistake on the Lake.

“Brandon was a hardworking, dedicated student that was focused on his studies and preparing for college,” said schools spokeswoman Angela Burford. “Brandon was seeking out various universities to apply to. Brandon’s death is a sad loss for the John Hay community.”

This boy was going to be one of the good guys, but because of it he had to lose his life. I wanted to scream to those Christians who gave me such a hard time about me being an Atheist; “WHERE’S YOUR GOD NOW?!”, I really wanted to. But that wouldn’t do nobody any good. Its just sick that they think Atheism is the reason why good people die. Which is even sadder because someone has said that to me and then pointed at me and called me a murder. This boy did not deserve to die. I just cannot imagine what the mother is going through right now.

“These Lakeshore Boys are a violent bunch,” he said. “I know for a fact that they have been connected to five homicides.”

I just hope they find these cowards with guns and give them life in jail. This senseless violence has got to stop but I know when that day happen if it will ever happen, I’ll be dead and gone.

Being in a Relationship is a Full-time Job

If you think being in a relationship is easy and all you have to do is say I love you every other month then you’re sadly mistaken. I’ve been with Cedric on and off for the past 4-5 years and it hasn’t been easy. There are the occasional arguments here and there but for the most part its just the commitment. I don’t have commitment issues its just the effort and time you have to put into it. Right now Cedric is sick and there’s nothing I can do to help him. Neither one of us has health insurance and Cleveland, Ohio is one of the worst places to try to get decent health care. The way he’s been coughing and sneezing I should of been sick by now and I just glad I’m not. The point is that I can’t take care of him and I know he needs me right now because sometimes he can’t get out of bed.

If you’re living with your significant other no matter how long or how short it has been I think you should know that its tough. Cooking and cleaning after a man for starters. Oh my I could have just cleaned the kitchen and finished cooking and he’ll come along and tear the whole kitchen up. Its hard getting a man to clean up after himself because they’re lazy. If I can cook, clean and do your laundry you can put the cap back on the pickles and stick them back in the fridge. I don’t ask for much from him but I give him a lot.

Around this time last year; a worst case scenario almost became reality. There was a shooting and he was in the crossfire and luckily he didn’t get shot. At this time I wasn’t living with him but a few days before I was just thinking about how life is so short and how something can happen to him so quick. I was trying to remember when was the last time I told him I loved him and I couldn’t. Well he managed to make it to my grandmothers house safely and I didn’t know what to feel. I know I wasn’t angry like anyone else would of been. I was happy that he was okay. I told him I loved him and that was the end of that.

There are a lot of things I should be doing differently in this relationship but something is holding me back from doing so. I don’t know if its my emotions or if its just him. He don’t complain much about me if any at all but its a lot with him that’s just unacceptable when you’re in a relationship. Certain things you don’t say out loud; like recently, he told me he would trade me away for a brand new gaming computer. For once I couldn’t tell if he was joking or not but for some reason I couldn’t get angry with him but nonetheless, you don’t say anything like that to your supposedly girlfriend. Some men have a hard time knowing when to shut up or not and that can end relationships so fast. Its good to be honest but to bluntly speak your mind like that? In my book that’s mental abuse.

The thing is this, being in a relationship takes work and lots of it. Don’t deprive your friends [if you have any], your health, or your family for a man or a woman though. Don’t wait til its too late to tell someone you love them, but don’t say it if you don’t mean it. If you have common sense, know what is appropriate to say and what’s not [unless you're a child in a man's/woman's body]. Try your best to be there for them and take care of them. Don’t get in a relationship you know you can’t commit to. If you know you’re a cheater, save yourself the energy and don’t start something you’re going to finish on a sour note. If you’re not happy with that person, leave them. Remember, love is not supposed to hurt no matter how many ways you try to convince yourself.

Reason and logic, as apposed to faith and fear.

If that ain’t the truth. I’m living in a country where God is used to start wars and to put people behind bars if it came to where the person swearing on the holy bible was actually lying. I’m not saying those without a deity cannot commit a crime. Those with one seem to have more of an irrational reason though. It was this guy I knew and he joined the army because he felt that God told him to join so he can kill people. His exact words were, “God told me to join the army so these people in Iraq can die by my hands.” and all I could do is shake my head and walk away. He was a fluent church goer; infact I think that’s where I met him. I haven’t heard from him sense, the last time I spoke to him, he was days before departing. Anyway, its not only that its people who is always damning someone to hell as well. Saying “there is a special place for people like you hell”. How the in the hell do you know that? Have you been there? If I’m correct, I don’t think there is seat placards for people in hell according to the “good word”.

Hell, according to this blog here. God has killed 30 million people. So I guess in a way, Christians are like children that are being led by example.

What a shame and someone had the nerve to tell me that Atheist are brainwashed by the “Devil“. I honestly don’t know who is what any more. What kind of “God” allows all the good people of the earth get murdered, or die of some incurable disease while all the “evil” of the world is running amok? Rapists are getting a slap on the wrist while those who give back to their community ends up perishing. So let me ask you Christians, what kind of God is that? Those who can speak to this God, what kind of things are you asking it when you’re conversing with it? I know it can’t be much because obviously, nothing has changed for the better. Let me just throw something random out there; if God created man I’m sure he created homosexuals because according to recent idiotic studies; homosexuality is genetic. Wouldn’t that contradict everything that you Christians are so upset about? Oh but wait, my bad God did something to take care of all of that so no one would question it. He gave humans free will. -straight face-

Everybody trying to be a Rapper/Producer these days…honestly, its quite pathetic.

I don’t know what motivates them; the get rich quick scheme, famous rappers and producers, lack of an education, myspace who knows. I do know that I’ve listened to my fair share of said rappers and producers and I will have to say that most of them were in fact garbage. Those who breathe, eat, sleep myspace track plays are the ones I’m talking about. Day in and day out there is someone asking me to listen to their music and when I do, I’m always let down. They give me this impression that its something that I “never heard before” when that’s not the case.

What it all dwindles down to is their lyrics and instrumentals sound a like. The lyrics in ones songs is about drugs, money, females, and violence. If I need that in my life, I would download every last piece of shit of music Gucci Mane, Lil’ Wayne and Plies has ever made. I look at these producers when they’re trying to make a buck for their music and its obvious they’re not getting far because its so many of them. If anything they’re not getting rich quick, they’re getting poor quicker. Getting rich by finding the easy way to make money doesn’t work for everyone. When I say everyone, I mean half if not more of Myspace.

I’ve conversed with a lot of these rappers and producers and they sound like they never picked up a book or even stepped inside of a school. They have this “thug” mentality and its astounding how stupid they are. Most sound paranoid as if someone is always out to get them or steal their music. I ask them do they have it patented and they say they don’t know what that mean. I try talking to them on an adult level and they can’t even keep a conversation going without begging me to listen to their latest beat/track. I try giving them constructive criticism and they act like I just shot them in the ass or slap the crap out of their mother.

How can you be a rapper or a producer if you’re dumb as a brick wall and have the mentality of someone below a 1st grader? How can you be a “lyrical genius” if you’re stupid as hell? What example are you setting for children of the future with lyrics about “bitches and ho’s”? That’s why I find most of you music producers and rappers pathetic. You’re trying to follow in your role-model’s footsteps and get rich like them but you haven’t gotten far and you probably won’t. That “if Gucci Mane can do it, I can too” shit shouldn’t apply to you. Its other ways to shine and being a statistic shouldn’t be one of them.

I would list the ones that people should spare their ear-drums and sanity from but I’ll be here all night. I might come back and list them anyway if I don’t have anything else to do later on.

I’m sorry but people who think I shouldn’t be ashamed of what my race has been doing for the past generation or so should just either watch this video or shut the fuck up.

This is disgusting. People resting places aren’t even safe from ignorant out of control black teens these days. If they would of did it at a Zoo they would of fit right in but they’re in a graveyard doing this bullshit? Couldn’t they had went home to their house and did this niggertry? These idiots are ass shaking on someone’s grave. I don’t know where you’re from but that shit is just plain disrespectful. I was speechless when my friend first sent me the link to this video. All I could do was shake my head and hope my little sister don’t grow up to be a product of her environment.

I have to ask though, what are the parents doing if their are any present in the home? Furthermore, who was the idiot who said, “hey lets go degrade ourselves on someone’s grave”? I hope they didn’t do that shit because Halloween is near. I don’t care what the reason is, the fact still stands that they are in a graveyard, dancing on people’s graves. Just when I thought the youth of this generation couldn’t get any stupider. I don’t even think I can blame this on the parents. They’re at that age where they know right from wrong but they’re victims of peer-pressure as well. Not making excuses for them because there is no excuse that can excuse them from doing some out of the world shit like that.

Left 4 Dead 2 Demo: List of Glitches, Errors, Bugs & Complaints

Honestly, what did you expect out of a PC video game Demo? This is probably why the console players got theirs earlier because its easier. A computer has to think more than a console do. Anyway, here are the things wrong with the game.

Game freezing every 10 seconds.
In-game music is skipping.
Game crashes back to desktop.

I can launch the game, and watch the introduction movie, but whenever I go past that the game closes to the desktop and displays “Completing installation…” and does nothing. Any fixes would be appreciated.

Reinstalling the demo does not work.
Game keeps Decrypting.
People getting “Monitor out of Range” error.
Game codes being invalid.
Characters are floating, you can look down and see the players legs and feet.
Can’t get online to play Left 4 Dead.
Demo refuses to launch, only gives purchase option.
Game disappearing from game list.
Crash in single player at end of second map when closing door crashed with memory error.
Multi-player we could all walk through certain walls and cars, couches etc but the game still worked fine.
Multi-player the game crashed when it loaded the second map.
AI in single player mode would stop shooting when being mobbed by large number of infected.
Purple “rope graphic” when throwing boomer bile at the alarm area.
NPC survivors would get stuck in looping animations when picking up objects.
After pulling a teammate up,the player hand is still held out as if you are going to pull someone up, goes away after shooting.
Common infected try to knock down a door that’s not there. [Meaning its been knocked down already and they're still you know...trying to knock it down.]
The characters sometimes have something that looks like a foot spasm. Like they are treading water.
The healing animations don’t function inside the Safe-room at times.
Special infected spawn in same place on occasions.
Australian and Germany version being over-censored.
Witch doesn’t react properly to survivors sometimes.
Hit boxes not working on Special Infected.

I saw a zombie with its knees bent and arms straight out to its sides spinning around like a helicopter. It stopped and looked at me for a second, then went back to spinning, so I shot it.

Zombies being too easy to kill.
“The survivors have escaped” is in very tiny lettering.
Can’t hear in-game music.
Guns disappearing from inventory.
Special Infected being invisible.
Infected having no heads but only in certain actions.
The choice to be able to walk through the scenery.

The little bridge right out from the very start of the game that leads out of the starting area got dislodged and everyone started clipping through it, falling off the edge and needing other teammates to help them get pulled back up.

Smokers being able to grab survivors through doors.
Common Infected wearing Riot Gear does not die.
Tank being too easy to kill.
Launching Demo un-mutes mic.
Can’t carry a primary gun and a melee weapon.
The Wandering Witch only responds if you shoot her, loud noises, walking right next to her and shooting boomers that’s a foot away won’t disturb her.
Pink and black textures on the wall. [Sounds like a graphical issue.]
Pre-loading to %100 just make the game download all over again.
Bile bomb seems more effective when just thrown on the floor like a pipe bomb.
The older SI seem weak compared to the new ones.
Too many options on what to grab as far as Pipe bombs, Bile bombs, Molotov Cocktails, etc etc are concerned.
Shooting accuracy has declined.
The game has the same feel as Left 4 Dead.

Getting charged by the Charger only to have him go right through me, hit the wall and some how managed to grab me from 10-15ft away and started pummeling me in the spot he originally charged from.

Common infected think the fastest way to get to me is climbing over lampposts instead of walking around.

View-models are too close to the camera.
Illegal position: get on roof in Parish.
Ability to revive a player from any height.
Illegal position: ability to ledge on a wall that doesn’t exist.
Melee flashlight does not cast shadows.
Incompatibility with MOTD and Internet Download Manager.
Invalid client.dll’s.

You’ll see the Valve logo, then the L4D2 intro movie. If you let it play through, or if you press Escape to skip it, the game then crashes with an Engine Error saying “Could not load library client.”

Cross-hair sometimes disappears, however returns when the weapon is fired.
AI path-finding bugs: infected are getting ’stuck/caught’ on the cars or poles in the level.
Lack of idle animation movement in pistols.
Smoker has no ‘pull’ animation, either standing or moving. Often time appears he his floating across the ground and standing still when he fires his tongue.
AI issue: bots occasionally congregate, particularly in corners and will refuse to move. They often refuse to pick up items such as med-kits and pills/adrenaline outside safe rooms even if they desperately need them.

CI issue: the CI will attack you from very odd angles, like running to you with their faces directed at you but bodies at an odd angle. Their body movement seems very unnatural and weird and objects in their way seem to make it worse.

Every time the map changes, performance for some ATI users would drop to unplayable levels.

Assigning melee/heal to MOUSE4 means you can’t heal teammates. Trying to do so with mouse4 will act as if you’re just pressing, not holding Mouse4. It switches in to healing then quits right after.

Friendly fire disabled for incapacitated people.
No self-awareness.

Here are my suggestions for some of these errors. If you have the demo, and its giving you errors and nothing you do seems to work. Try waiting a few days, the servers at Valve are probably at its capacity sense people are trying to install the game at once. If you’re having problems with Left 4 Dead 2 freezing, try disabling Multicore rendering. If you’re trying to play Left 4 Dead online but you can’t connect, you should also wait, there a lot of anxious and potential whiners still installing the game. If you’re having other problems with decrypting, try restarting Steam. That seems to help a lot of people. If you haven’t been able to even download it yet, you should just wait til they hype dies down. Chances are there are others who can’t even download it yet.

The demo will not be available to those who did not pre-order Left 4 Dead 2. The Grenade Launcher, Incendiary Ammo is not available to use in the demo.

The only melee weapons in the demo are:

Tonfa
Machete
Frying Pan
Electric Guitar

On another note, I feel sorry for those who live in Australia and Germany. They have Censored dead bodies and when you shoot the infected, they disappear before they hit the ground. There is barely any gore or blood in the game.

First off when you first visit the site you have to adjust your eyes to the colors chosen for the site, then you have to get past the part where it says “F*@K THE HATERS!” then to enter the site you have to click “Get your cle SWAG on”. First of all, swag in “urban” terminology is:

How in the hell does Cleveland as a city of Ohio have “swag”? I don’t know but I know if you’re going to represent Cleveland in such a manner, don’t make a whole site about it making Cleveland, Ohio look bad. It looks bad by itself, it doesn’t need to be in the form of a poorly done site. Speaking of which, on the site some if not most of the links are nonoperational. STOP CRYING ABOUT LEFT 4 DEAD 2 DEMO RELEASE BEING DELAYED!

I went on the Steam’s Left 4 Dead 2 forum site and all people are doing is crying, moaning bitching and whining that the game has been pushed back to 10 hours. Its just a demo and its not like they are canceling the demo completely and making you wait til the game is released. Crying and bitching about a demo being delayed is fucking retarded. Be glad you’re getting the demo at all. You’ll get it when you get it. Shit happens and flooding the forums is not going to make them hand you the demo any faster. So what that the Xbox 360 gamers get to play their demo earlier than PC gamers. That is not their fault.

I’ve never see so many cry babies about a damn demo in my life. I don’t think the Left 4 Dead boycott members were this damn bad and I’m sure there are a huge fraction of them just as frustrated as you. People are on there rage-posting and telling people to rage this and rage that. What the hell can your simple damn font do? Posting the fax and contact numbers to valve is not going to prove a point, its just going to get laughed at. I’m laughing now at all those supposed “gamers” that are crying about a demo that is just that. You only get to play 1 and and half chapter, nothing more…nothing less. Whose to say the demo is going to be what you think it is anyway? With that being said, I’m expecting a lot more forums once the demo is released. People will be crying how they didn’t get what they expected. Well no one told them to have their expectancy for a damn demo over 9000.

People as of now are saying they’ve been lied to. How were you lied to? Oh because they delayed the game for 10 more hours? How is that a lie? A lie is saying a demo is coming out but never do. That is a damn lie. When things get close to a release date for video games, things are bound to happen. People end up showing their true colors and after awhile its no longer funny, its just plain sad. Video game companies don’t owe gamers a damn thing. They make games to put food on their table, not yours. So Valve can release their demo whenever they fucking please. Its not much you can do about it, its you who wants to play the game so badly so its you who is ass hurt, not them. If you want to shoot zombies so bad, occupy yourself by playing Left 4 Dead.

Go over there to steam in the Left 4 Dead 2 forums if you need amusement, especially if you’re like me and could give a damn about a damn demo delay.

I Didn’t Ask You Christians to “Pray” for Me, So Why Bother?

I’ve always wondered why Christians felt that telling me that they were going to pray for me will make me feel any less different about me being an Atheist before they said it. I just need to know do they make a memo or have a little sticky note stuck on their headboard with a list of things people to pray for? Who the hell remembers to pray for an Atheist? I can’t speak for all Atheists when I say this but, I don’t need you Christians praying for me, I’m not brainwashed, I’m not senile, I’m a human being just like you.

The pastor that was blowing my phone up earlier this month showed up at my apartment door last week and he wanted to talk to me about repenting. All I could think of at that moment is that there are people that believe and I’m positive that they need him more than I do. In these trying times it was so hard not to take that thick ass book of lies and smack him with it. He was determined to get me back in the church but I wasn’t having it. I listened to what he had to say but I kindly told him if he don’t leave me alone and stop calling me and showing up uninvited I’ll have to press charges for harassment. I seriously thought Jehovah’s Witnesses was persistent but I guess I was wrong. Well when he finally got ready to leave, he made sure to tell me that he would pray for me. What am I supposed to say to that? Thank You Mr. Jackass?

Am I supposed to feel special that you spent your time praying for me? What am I supposed to say to someone when they say they will pray for me when they know what they know? Basically, why do you Christians give a flying fuck? What do you get out of praying for an Atheist? A blessing? Good Karma? A ticket to the Oprah Show? What?!?! I know some of you persistent assholes need a swift kick in the ass. Gosh I never been so annoyed with Christians. Sometimes I wish I could turn back the hands of time and make it where I never told anyone I was an Atheist.
