There’s No Such Thing as “Cuffing Season”
That’s right, I said it. There is no such thing as “cuffing season”. Yea, it’s about to get cold out, yes, you’re probably single and yes, you probably just dumped your Summer boyfriend for a Winter one. If you’re that cold and need something to warm you up, grab a blanket; a sweater maybe.
What is cuffing season? It’s a slang term for the time of the year when the weather begins to change and pairs start forming.
If you spent most of the year with one guy and everything is going good, why dump him just to find someone else just because the weather is changing? What’s more stupid, you dump them the moment it gets warm enough outside to wear a wind breaker. Here in Cleveland, the weather is always changing so does that mean you have to change boyfriends based on what the weather channel says?
I wonder if this stupidity is widespread or is it just among the black community. I wonder if “cuffing season” happens in Florida or Atlanta, California etc? The weather pretty much stays the same there; besides hurricane season. What causes someone to suddenly feel the need to find someone because the temperature dropped a few degrees?
There’s no such thing as cuffing season. It’s just some idiotic excuse for women to hibernate for the winter with a man because they were club hopping and bed hopping all Summer. Oh, that apply to men too. Didn’t mean to exclude y’all.
