    HELP!! I installed the Late Night. When my sim get in a large hot tub (which can be used by 6 sims) he gets in the middle of the tub and cannot stay!! When another sim wants to join, they stuck together and then get out. How can I solve this?? Thanks before… :/

    Hy, I need some help. I downloaded the original Sims 3, Late Night, Generations, Ambitions, and Pets. When I went into create a sim, my character is made up of blue and black tiles and you can only see their eyes and some accessories. Their hair is only halfway on. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling all of the packs and the base game and it did the same thing. Then I uninstalled them again and downloaded the base game with Late Night and it still is doing the same thing. Anyone have an answer???

    Hi, look the problem is that i can’t play the drums. my sim go around it and then disapears an appears again. how i can solve this?

    heyy i have been having the problem with the fence posts sticking up everywhere especially when i purchased the safeguard gate.. i found if i made a new fence that went directly over these fence post, then deleted the fence the fence posts were also deleted so iv been able to get rid of them all. hopefully this works for others having the same problem :) :)

    My sims started to play the guitar before he had to work and instead of putting it down, it’s stuck with him. It’s not in his inventory but appears attached to him. I can’t seem to get him to put it down.

    in sims 3 the fish were there for weeks, but now they’re not not visible. Experienced fishermen can only fish with no bait, They still catch fish but you can’t see them, and you can’t see them when harvesting from the omni plants. if you chose bait nothing happens and the sim just stands there, [just like when they try to order omni seeds.] I reinstalled following the directions the first time to try and get the omniseeds to work. I reinstalled the second time to try to get the fish to come back and bait to work. Reinstalling has not helped, in fact there seems to be more problems, and it all worked at first, even with a Mod or two.
    Oh, and suddenly my sims are trying to cook pet food and horse granola, etc. You can’t see what they’re cooking, there are carrots too, with no picture and no actual carrots and I do not have now, nor have ever had pets?
    I only have the base Sims 3 game running on win 7 on an hp pavilion dv7, ATI mobility radeon HD 6550. The omniseeds orders have never worked in any family member that got that far from any family, but everything else used to work. I tried to download more tatoos from Sims 3 official site once, but have since reinstalled again, including the folder and registry cleanup.
    Any ideas you might have will be greatly appreciated. I wanna see the fish again! :D

    hi i just updated my sims 3 late night but i forget to remove the mods folder so im unsure if thats the cause or not but eversince the update when i play the game i have this problem where like a lamp will not go on top of the table it will just go underneath the table how do i fix this i can not put things on top of tables or anything like a decoration on top of anything ??? help plz

      From what I’m seeing it seems as if this is the new update that’s causing all of these issues. You are not alone on this one. I think removing the mods folder won’t help this situation. You may have to wait til EA come up with another one of their wonderful patches to fix this issue.

    Hello.
    In my Sims 3 game, I am trying to get a butler. When I call services the option for Butler does not come up. I was wondering if you could please help me? I desperatly need a butler! My sims are lazy!!

      What are you doing different? Have you tried making a new game and starting with a pre-made family and see if you can get a butler then?

      Butlers will sleep in a Sim’s house, so make sure that they have a spare bed! To assign a bed for the butler, click on the desired bed and set it as the butler’s bed. The butler has level 10 in both Cooking and Handiness, though Camilla Fortescue, one of the pre-made butlers in Bridgeport, does not follow this rule, having a different range of skills. A good relationship must be kept with the butler or they may leave. There are some known glitches with the butler. When arriving at a house, the car they have arrived in often becomes stuck outside the front of the house even when the game is reloaded. At times, they may become invisible, though this is temporary. Butlers must be paid every week.

      Tasks done by Butlers
      Give advice
      Feed toddler in high chair.
      Put toddler in crib.
      Read skill books to toddler.
      Clean lot including laundry.
      Repairs broken objects.
      Answer the door
      Serve food
      Gives Massage

      In addition to these dialogue options, Butler are also capable of attacking and repelling burglars, calling the fire department, and putting out fires, all of which is done autonomously.

    Hello, In the Sims 3 I created a fence around my house and I deleted a part of my fence to make room for the gate. When I deleted the fence it left a fence post standing and I can not delete them from my lot.

      Hello Bobby!

      Have you tried going into the command console and typing in ‘testingcheatsenabled true’ then typing in ‘moveobjects on’?

      moveObjects
      Removes footprint limitation for all object placement in Buy Mode and Build Mode. Removes limitations placed on hand tool for when objects are in use or for objects that normally are not movable. Is known to cause issues with game elements, routing, hidden object generation and manipulation, etc. Note that using this cheat allows you to move and delete objects that normally cannot be manipulated such as Sims. If you delete these objects, there is no way to get them back, so be careful!

        Yes, I have tried that combination of cheats in all three modes and there are no options what so ever when clicking, shift-click or control-clicking. Actually when I control-cick I get the option to make scarred. When I adjust the terrain underneath it moves with the terrain elevation but I can build a basement under it and it will just float above it.

    Wow, really nice work!

    I actually have 2 problems..
    My game is Sims 3 with all expansions up to outdoor..

    1: My sim stopped using both his cars and motorcycle efter becoming a vampire?

    2: I cannot play the expansion “generations”, I install and it basically says; “error occured, check the log”.
    Tried uninstalling everything an then installing again, first uninstall all expansions, not the base game, same problem.
    Uninstalled everything including base game, installing everything in order of release date and updating before installing generations. Didn’t work.
    Finally I tried doing the same thing, but, not updating or launching before everything, including generations where installed and it still gave me the same message. I couldn’t update since the launcher seems to not be working with generations on the computer..

    I hope you’ve got some answers as I didn’t seem to find anything already answered on my journey to the bottom here..

      A lot of gamers have been having issues after they installed ‘Generations’, uninstalling and reinstalling doesn’t work, patching and updating the game doesn’t work. Sadly I’ve been doing research on this issue myself and can’t come up with any logical explanation why ‘Generations’ is giving so many players, so many issues.

      I wouldn’t bother contacting EA about this issue, all they’ll do is tell you to reinstall the game or “restart your computer and make sure your game is updated”.

    I have a problem with the fountains not working right and the solution listed is to remove all old save games, what does that mean? Do I delete all my saved games? Thanks.

    Yeah, I got one that Google and most of the well-known Sims 3 sites haven’t seemed to have figured out yet. Got a house with a total of 5 floors, 4 underground and one ground-level. There’s a total of 7 sims living in it. To aid in resurrecting one of my sims I used the “testingcheatsenabled true” cheat and added a hired butler to the playable sims list on the left-hand side of the screen. Lo and behold, now this 5-story elevator I’ve installed seems to be stuck, saying that it can’t be deleted because a sim’s using it, yet I’ve used the resetSim command on them in order to make CERTAIN that the Sim’s not using it at all. So basically, I have most of the Sims in the family huddled around an elevator that won’t move, which I can’t delete because it’s waiting for a sim to give up on using it when she isn’t using it at all. XD If that didn’t make any sense, welcome to the club. My copy’s fine, all three expansions fully installed and updated, no mods. If you have any leads, let me know. :)

      Sorry for double-post. Just got it fixed, all I had to do was make sure testingcheatsenabled was set to true, then hold shift, click each individual elevator section, click Object… > Delete and then replace them. Problem solved. >_>

      You’re saying that you can’t install Night Life because you have The Sims 3 installed? What error messages are you getting?
      What are OS are you using?

    In my game, when I go out, it’s like if everyone was a mixologist or a musician, in some clubs, everyone dresses the same and gets that “, mixologist” after the name. Is that a bug?

    In late Night when babies are born they look wrong some are ok but most are wrong they have adult skins they keep this bug through chidhood-teens and it’s still not right when they reach adults it is still not right
    i have all patches up to 6.1 etc installed
    Is there mod or patch to fix this
    I have removed all mods and put them back one at a time etc and deleated catche files etc thanks
