This is an awesome game, but they’ll make two more expansions and then come out with Sims 4 making Sims 3 obsolete. Then we start all over buying better versions of what they already release before.
Sims 3 has no action in it. I wish they’d add something interesting like a threat to the planet from an alien race, or superheroes and villains with lots of powers, or be able to pull robberies, or actual sports you can play. Awesome game though.

I think people should stop judging this game, it’s not even out yet. Yes it has it’s similarities to Night Life and Hot Date.. but have you not realised that it will be significantly BETTER than these previous games, there will clearly be other features in this game with it being massively better than Sims 1 & Sims 2. You can interact more in the Sims 3, so why can’t you see that this game will be more fun? Just.. Think about it.

People can think what they want about the game. It doesn’t diminish the fact that their are going to be more glitches, bugs, and errors than features.

It feels like they are just re releasing the same remade crap they have already made. It just looks more and more like… pudding. Remember Night Life? This is the same thing. I own The Sims 1 and all the EPs, as well as The Sims 2 and most of the EPs. Im not afraid to say it, but I pirated the rest of the EPs, but bought The Sims 3, and have pirated the EPs. This is what is wrong with America. These companies just abuse the market by doing this sort of stuff, and I refuse to pay for the same thing I have already paid for. They should have spent a little bit of extra time on The Sims 3 so that it was integratable to all of the previous EPs. What would they have had to do? Rewrite a little script and update visuals… It isn’t hard, it is how they made Halo 3 and Gears of War 2 and MANY MANY OTHERS. The core (engine) is still there, they just updated it. Its like selling someone and apple, then taking it back and painting it blue, and selling it back to them bc it is newer and different…
