My sims 3 ambitions keeps coming up with an error when i am trying to load my town!
i played it only last night and now it is refusing to load, saying that it strongly reccommends that i reload the application!
can anyone help? or i am going to have to start again?!
My sims houses also have these weird streaks going through them :s How do I fix this?

hey my sims is stuck sitting on the floor with its baby and i cancled what they were doing cuz they were done and now thy r both stuck and im rly frustrated i also tried doing what u said about the move objescts and the othe thing too and they didnt work i rlyy need help cuz i dont wanna restar!

I have bought both ambitions and generations but they don’t work when both installed. It comes up saying an unknown error has occurred. Each works on their own. There are no game updates on the main menu? What can I do? Any help much appreciated

My sims go to sleep and they stuck on the bed.
i try to cheat move objects but they still sleeping I think their stuck.

(sims3) i have a sim who married an in game sim. i saved game and then bought ambitions expansion pack. when i started the game again the female sim bounces all over the screen while shes at the house. does not apply when shes at work. both sims were sitting and watching tv during the save before the upgrade. male sim is all good. also female sim has “pristine picture” moodlet that will not go away unless she sits in the same spot on the couch with tv off. everything was fine before the expansion pack. should i uninstall? any help would be greatly appreciated.
my sims pink bed was gone and cant find it .. how can i have it back?
You may have to just buy another one. You probably didn’t pay your bills on time and the repo sim came and took it.
I NEED HELP! i have the sims with the expansion packs: pets, ambitions, generations and night life. I have had a few glitches : all controls have gone off the screen and i tried pressing ‘tab’ it didnt worrk. Then when i spoke to someone then stopped the thing at the top left that comes up didnt go off and all my actions just went above it and lastly, the person i’m controllings picture didnt come on it was my boyfriends picture….HEEEELLLLPPPPP!
My GAH Sim Can Capture Ghosts BUT they Don’t appear in her inventory and do no inform me of the Capture it self. the Jobs still get done But I want to be able to use them for Opp’s and Simalons, Any idea of what to do? thank you XD
i have a really bugging glitch that you cant even see anything yu have to scroll down to see and its really annoying i can only live in tiny houses so i can see i cant see anything if i live in a big house what do i do? please help how to get rid of it

so, i ended up uninstalling ambitions because intalling it and going on the adventures stopped my sims from interacting.Now that its uninstalled from my game, my sims can not die.They go to expire, turn into ghost, but the grim reaper does not come and a tombstone does not show up when i use a cheat to rid the house of the sims’ ghost.THIS IS ONLY HAPPENING IN ONE TOWN!please help! do i need to update my game or get a patch for it?this is a huge problem
i’m trying to download the Sims ambitions pack but it won’t let me, it says there is a redundancy with the Twinbrook cache… i don’t know what to do i would really love to play this game.

In my game, there is a window that if I zoom out a bit, it completely disappears.

I made a time machine invention atleast twice with my Sim, and it’s no where to be found. Help?
Go to build/buy mode and it will be in there just look for a box icon.
My Sim picked a bowl up and now it’s stuck to her hand..
Try the resetsim cheat, it should reset your sim. Also you can click on the bowl in your Sim’s hand and tell your Sim to continue cooking.
my sim is stuck between a non-exisistent basement and the ground floor. what should i do?
If your sim is stuck in a non existant or unreachable place, try buying a teleportation pad and teleporting your sim home. it will return them back outside.
Hi , i’m having a problem in installing the ambitions pack. the thing is i have already install the sims 3 base game n world adventure with a patch, when i want to install the ambitions, it happen like “the setup will attempt to update the Sims 3″. the update work well, but then when i start to install it stuck in the ”gamedata”… so i give up and wanna play the game but then it says, “the version is incompatible with the sims 3, please update ur game”, its the same thing happen when i go to view my custom content. How am i suppose to install the ambitions pack with a patched sims 3.
My sims three children randomly disappeared when I was playing. It still says they are living there but i can’t find them. I moved them out and even tried playing a different family in hopes that they would come back. But they haven’t. Now it just says that there are two people living there, which would be my adult sims and now I have a random baby that I cant play living in my house. I have all of the new sims games loaded, so I dont know if it is a glitch with ambitions or with generations, I was just wondering if you know how to get them back.
ok… so my sim has a glitch or something… when ever shes doing something like sitting or laying down then she makes a noise and then she sit/stands up then goes back down.. also when she is doing something her arm twists backwards and she makes a whining sound. what should I do? What’s wrong?
My sims game crashes whenever I go into map view. When I’m at home it’s perfectly fine, but as soon as I zoom out of my sims house the game shuts down.
When my sim paints each one just says missing texture what do i do to fix that?
What kind of graphics card do you have? You can go to your settings in the game and see what level the texture is set to.
Alll of a sudden my Young Adult Sim and her toddler can’t interact with anybody! Very annoying because this just recently started! Really want a quick fix, I just pre-ordered Pets!
Hi. I cant even play Sims 3 Ambitions because every time I click on the launcher, a window pops up that says “unable to start game error code 345.” It is really agrivating to spend $30.00 on a Sims 3 game and not being able to play it. I really hope you can help me. I have tried uninstalling it and than installing it- that didnt work. I’ve tried dowloads- that didnt work. I’ve tried opening the game from the base game launcher- and guess what? You guessed it! It didnt work! So Please help me!

because if it’s the one then it sounds like you have either missing windows system files or corrupt files which in either case if it cannot be fixed by this tool then it’s an engineer call out or a full system restore
In Ambitions one of my sims is a firefighter….and she runs everywhere! She runs with a baby in hand, she runs every where!…I even click on walk and she still runs every damn where! so annoying lol. And when my sims starts to get into a steady relationship every time they try to invite their partner they will accept the invite but change and say something pops up.
That glitch came with the update that came out with World Adventures. The patch after that should have fixed it.
I do not have any mod installed, and my game keep freezing: all my sim’s portraits disappear after some time, I can’t change active household or it freezes and I can’t play unless I close the game, and it bugs more and more -_- until I cannot play anymore without getting upset. I needed to reinstall the game like 5 times since I brought Generations: my cities become crazy and can’t be played anymore, the loading takes forever and never gets into the game. So in the end, I need to reinstall all cause all my game stops working.
I have all the expansions til now, and I have this problem only since Generations was installed.
Any way to fix that or do we need to wait for a freaking patch that doesn’t come?

I can’t see any of my sims. When i click on their picture it takes me to the spot where they are… but i can’t see them. Also, right before i stopped being able to see them they were all doing things.. but now there are no actions.

I told my sim to sleep when she was going to bed I followed her then she went to bed then she became invisible. I tried clicking her picture to follow her but It lead me to a different place. I tried to wake her up she appeared but she didn’t come from her bed she cane from a different room and when she goes down the stairs she doesn’t use the stairs she just walks down on the floor and she goes down. UGGHH. Please replyyy!!

Yes.. should i uninstall them? but, what will happen to my sim? she’s using the mod..
Yes, just move the folder to the desktop and see if that fixes the problem. It could be a corrupted/incompatible mod in that folder. Nothing should happen to your Sim, it won’t delete her or anything.
The children have all the same hairstyle like their parents in my game…I had this little problem before and it had been fixed by an update.Then I uninstalled the game due to a format and now that i reinstalled it I have it again, I now that its not so serious but it seems a little boring…
just purchased Ambitions, (The physical copy, not the digital download) It asks me to update my game, and says “the setup will attempt to update the Sims 3″. So of course, I click “Yes” It says “Update in progress, please wait”. But then, I get a message saying “Update of the Sims 3 failed, Setup is unable to continue”. I’ve tried about four times, and keep getting the same results. SOLUTION PLEASE
i got the same problem with you. asilee.com , do you had solution for this. and do i really need to updated in order to play the game. If that so i wanted to updated the games not using the download manager by Ea but manually updated? because ea take too long to load and in the end it crash and say error
My sim is permanently pregnant. She had the moodlet that the baby was coming but it never came. Now she is pregnant and can’t travel or swim or have any more kids. This really stinks

I have had an issue with the sims 3… It always now crashes to the desktop and my computer is windows Vista… now this didn’t start until i found the cheat codes and typed them in as soon as i booted the game up… this is when the game started to crash… and i can’t reinstall it because i have the other sim games installed and if i try to i get a warningg message saying that if i reinstall the sims 3 it could cause the other sims 3 games to have issues… Please help me!! I don’t know what to do…. Help would be apperciated…

I just got sims 3 late night for my pc. I downlooaded it and started playing with all the new stuff. I found out my sims can skinny dip so I told them to do it together. My main sim is stuck complaining that the Harvestor is in her way. I went to her inventory to delete or sell it and it won’t let me. I’d really hate to have to kill her off and start her again. The other sim who doesn’t have one has no probably swimming. Is there anyway around it other then started her again? Is this suppose to happen? Everything else I can sell and delete.
My sim is a stylist but when she goes to draw new styles on the boad ther are no drawing, their’s “missing texture”
I think I have the same problem as the couple of people who have “streaks” through their houses. It’s like the houses are stretched and the textures are messed up. I have just the base Sims 3 game, and I’ve had it for awhile, but haven’t played. Yesterday, I decided to play and I updated through the Sims Launcher, then played and saw this. I updated everything on Window’s Update afterwards, and I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it’s still there.

When the screen streaks like that, it usually means you have a glitched custom content item. You should try to find out what the item is, and delete it.

Okay, well, I have the ‘my sim will not interact with others’ sort of problem.
My sim had married another and lived in the same household. When the male had phased to an elder, my adult female sim was then unable to interact with the male. The female can interact with everyone and everything else in the game, but that person.
I even moved the male sim out, [which was an awful idea, I know] and I’m still unable to interact with him. Any help or ideas? I do, in fact, have my game updated to the latest patches and whatnot, and I do check often if they’re any newer ones.
Okay, So I Could Let My Sim Die OR Try To Do SOmething… Her Hunger And Energy’s almost completely down in red. So Heres WHAT happened my sim got a oppertunity to cater a party at city hall.. i cooked all three meals, i sent her to go deliever them, and while she was in city hall one spoiled in her inventory soo i exited the action on her delievering them when she was already there. IT would’ve been helpfull if i was there but my screen was at her house bc i had to take care of the kids, so i didnt see what happened. You know how there is a little room sorta just a wall all around on each side of the stairs? SOMEHOW she got into them so shes stuck in between the walls? And Shes About To Die, I tried to do Ctrl + Shift + c and did “moveobjects” and went to buy/build mode to move her but since i was at city hall it took me back to their house so it wouldnt let me :’( PLEASE HELP!!!!! ASAP
Um, have you tried the reset sim cheat? That will reset her and send her back home.
Try cheat testingcheatsenabled true then shift+click somewhere on the floor of the lot your sim is stuck and then click build here. It will allow you to move your sim out of her problem.
All my sims seem to be crowding around outside the bonsai lounge. Even if i switch households. They are all there. There is noone in any of the bars, and i have no mixologists???
I have two sims that are successfully engaged. They do not live in the same house hold though that was an option earlier. The “have private wedding” option appeared and i selected it. The sims went through with the marriage but there was no mood boost from being married and when i checked the male’s (the sim from the active household) relationship status with the woman, it said they were still only engaged. I then through a wedding party for them and the “get married” option appeared. They have had several public and private weddings but are still engaged! I don’t know any way to fix that.
Now i feel dumb. I typed in testingcheatsenabled true and selected the woman from the family that wasn’t my active family and made her part of my active family. Then i had her select the option to have a private wedding. Unfortunately when i decided to edit my neighbourhood it wouldn’t let me and came up with a square saying that i cannot edit my neighbourhood when one of my sims is dying. But none of them are dying!
Ok so i installed my sims 3 ambitions and about an hour or less the computer shuts down….it only when im using sims3 ambitions so….
I reinstalled it and it STILL shut down….
Some people say its just a glitch from EA that cant be fixed…
It doesnt work in create a sim build mode or buy mode…
at first it just closed the game and went to the desktop
but now it COMPLETELY shuts down
it might be from me using too much cheats BUT ITS NOT FROM OVERHEATING!!
If it IS from cheats please tell me how to fix it please!!
Okay here goes, I have the graphics card that the game needs to play properly. I play the base game perfectly fine. But whenever I use the Ambitions expansion, I can only create a sim, go to town, and click on inanimate objects. It will not give me the option to interact with sims! I’ve un-installed the ambitions twice, and then the base game works just fine..but i REALLY want to play the expansion. Please help me
Do you have any mods in your game? I had the same problem when I had the same-sex pregnancy mod installed in my game. When I removed that mod my game worked fine and I was able to interact again. If you do have mods you could remove them and add them in one-by-one to see which is causing the problem. Hope this helps!
I removed everything sims from my computer and reinstalled the base game, WA, Ambitions, and high-end loft stuff. I then placed my saves (from my old computer) into the saves file on the newly downloaded game as well as the savedsims files.
I start everything up and it works fine. I move my sim over to a mirror to change her appearance and after I’m done, I click the check-mark and the game closes instantly!
I tried the DEP thing and restarted the computer and when I start the game up, it will only play for about 5 seconds and then it closes.
My computer is only about 2 years old and I’ve never had compatibility issues with any other games. My graphics card is ATI Radeon HD 4650 and I have tons of memory and space and all that. It’s a gaming computer so it can handle the sims no problem.
But for some reason, it’s not. I don’t know what to do.
Please let me know if you need more info.
When I play the Sims 3 with the Ambitions Expansion pack, after about 20 minutes the game freezes and I’m forced to turn my computer off.
Also, when I ‘create-a-style’ and save it, it doesn’t save, and I have to create the style all over again.
My sim is in the Paranormal Career, however, whenever there is an opportunity to banish spirits, they won’t go to the house. I select them to go, and the house icon disappears and they won’t go. How can I get them to actually ghost hunt? I tried 2 different sims. Help?
That needs a patch from EA to fix.

heyley, i have the same prob. i foung out what is causing this and it the fences and stairs. sometimes they arnt so bad and just go blurry, but most of the time they go: KA_BOOM and send streaks all over the town.
