Cleveland, get off of Lebron’s Nutsac!

I’m sure everyone besides Cleveland, Ohio knows that Lebron James becomes a free agent July 1st. Well here in Cleveland, the news is all a buzz and have been for some time now about Lebron. They’re holding parties in his honor, even The Cleveland Orchestra is in on it come this July 2nd. There is this big mural of Lebron from when he was in high-school, college and now professional basketball and under it, it goes along the lines of saying that Cleveland needs/wants him here and this is where he belongs.

Why does our city revolve around this guy? I have met plenty of people in this city that are better people than Lebron. This is a joke on so many levels. That goes to show you that Cleveland is where dreams go to die because the moment something good comes along they try so desperately to keep it.

In my opinion Cleveland is pathetic. They’re saying that Cleveland’s economy relies on Lebron James and if and when he leaves the economy will fall. Honestly, I hope he leaves because this is ridiculous. If they fought this hard for things that mattered Cleveland would be slightly striving, but I digress.

Lebron James is more than a sports superstar. He’s a one-man economic engine that drives the lane, fills the bars and puts Cleveland on national TV. - The Cleveland Plain Dealer (Cleveland.com)

People here are basically willing to sell their soul to get Lebron James to stay. While I sit and watch this debauchery unravel, I can’t but help to pity the citizens of Cleveland, and yes Akron Ohio. Lebron isn’t the ‘chosen one’ or the ‘king’ as everyone puts it.

I’m sure he’s laughing at everyone behind closed doors; already decided on what he’s going to do. I cannot wait when the day of reckoning comes; I seriously hope he leaves, but there’s a catch to that. People will THEN be bitching, crying and moaning about how he betrayed his hometown and how he turned his back on his family or what have you. This is a lose/lose situation here, the bitching, the pleading, the crying won’t end.

The Cleveland Orchestra’s free, public event on Public Square celebrates its 21st anniversary on Thursday, July 1. A community festival begins at 5pm and at 8:40pm, an “orchestrated” message to LeBron James will be delivered. July 1 is the Cavaliers star’s first official day as a free agent. The Orchestra concert, followed by fireworks is at 9pm. – City of Cleveland

How pathetic is that? Talk about desperate pleas, it don’t get any more desperate than that. I hope the message reads “Please get off of Lebron’s nutsac“.

It’s really sad how people have placed so much faith and hope in this guy to the point of which I really worry about the citizens of this city… their hearts are just way too attached; and their wallets. I mean really, our economy depends on him? Its REALLY pathetic when an entire city depends on one guy for their economy, especially when that one guy seemed to have quit the city during the Boston Celtics [that's my team] playoffs. Anybody watching the game could see that the Cavaliers and Lebron gave up, so the city should have been prepared for this, why lose time and money chasing after this guy when all efforts should be put forth for the betterment of Cleveland and all Clevelanders?

If anyone can answer that feel free. Maybe he will surprise us all and just retire.

Chris Brown, you’re trying too hard…

Chris Brown haven’t lost that many fans as he probably think he have. For it to surface that Lloyd told him to cry on stage is pretty much a starving cry out for attention.

He’s back with a vengeance….I think that they’re gonna find a place in their heart for him again….I told him man, you gotta get up there. You gotta CRY, you gotta really show your heart to the world. – Lloyd

But now there is another rumor going around that Lloyd DID NOT tell Chris Brown to cry at the 2010 BET Awards.

From Lloyd’s blog:

I consider Chris a friend. He’s been through a lot in the past couple years. I never told him to go on stage and cry. We spoke recently, and I told him as a friend that people hadn’t really seen him be vulnerable about his situation last year [with Rihanna]. I thought he was holding back and needed to let that emotion out. Him crying at the BET Awards was real, I could feel it.” said Lloyd.

He went on to say, “I think he cried about a number of things. About the fact that he thought people would hate him forever because of one mistake. Feeling that love on stage was probably overwhelming. Plus MJ being gone and him performing “Man in the Mirror”, that song is powerful, especially for his situation. It pushed him over the edge. - Lloyd

The man is supposed to be professional and was supposed to pay tribute to a legend that he looked up to. Not put on a freak show toward the end to win his fans back..that shit was all types of wrong. He was supposed to kill it and show that he had the vocal range to almost match Michael [that last part was sarcasm because Chris Brown can't sing for shit].

Either way in my opinion, Chris Brown, you’re trying too hard and you ruined the tribute to Michael Jackson. You let your guilty conscience and desperate attempts to win your fans back blind you into doing what you can do best and it’s not singing, but dancing.

It’s funny how many women are forgiving Chris Brown and making excuses for him, but lets put that same issue in your life. What if your man beat the shit out of you? How many of you would make excuses for him?

Also…

Nobody’s hating on Chris Brown. You young girls are getting all defensive and upset. You aren’t kin to this cat. Some of us do not like him. Didn’t before the Rihanna shit and don’t now. My dislike for him has nothing to do with what happened between him and Rihanna. Every couple has problems and sometimes shit happens. I just don’t like his attitude. He always  seemed fake, contrived, cocky, over-the-top, corny, etc. That’s my opinion. It’s amazing how many of you chicks talk about picking the wrong men or being in relationships with men/boys who hit it and then quit it. But you like men like this. It’s no wonder your relationships go nowhere. You’re looking for “swag”, arrogance, cockiness, drug-dealing, closet homosexual, false flagging, thug wanna-be ass men but you wonder why you pick the wrong men. WTF? Keep your damned legs closed until you find out if he’s for real. Talk about something other than sex, cars and money if you really want to get to know him and his intentions.

Crying was the worse thing he could have done. MJ should have jumped out his grave and moon-walked all over that kid. BET at times does things tasteless; this was one.

Gygan is Better than LimeWire

If you use LimeWire, BearShare, Frostwire, or the like. You should stop using them; LimeWire especially and try this program on for size. You don’t have to worry about viruses and things of that nature.

GyganWhat do you have to lose? This program does a lot more than LimeWire. The feed is a lot faster than that of LimeWire. You can share large files a lot quicker. It has free uploading, and free downloading.

Gygan is great for sharing large HD home videos and hi-res photos with your friends and family, or distributing software to your clients, partners, and customers.

A Sense of Wonder…

I wonder what its like to have haters,  is it a great feeling; a sense of accomplishments? Do your self-esteem shoot through the roof? How does one point out a hater for that matter? Its funny because those that are disrespectful and unruly towards me, I don’t consider them haters because I don’t even acknowledge them.

Wouldn’t it be easier to just ignore these people instead of bragging about being famous because you have SO many haters? I have yet to grasp the concept of that though. Just because in your feeble little, pea-sized brain you think you’re famous because you think you have all these haters don’t mean its true. I think most who think like this, KNOWS this. Maybe if you sat and thought about it for more than a few minutes that maybe, you don’t have haters. Maybe people genuinely don’t like you and they don’t want what you have.

Also, just because someones opinion is different from yours doesn’t make them a hater either, that makes you a simple-minded, naive, idiot.

Haters

A Fatherless Life

Growing up raised by grandparents, aunts and cousins with no mother or father around. Growing up knowing less than of what was known as a child. Refusing to believe that a mother couldn’t have been that careless to make the same mistake 5 times.

I didn’t have what some would call a ‘cliché‘ of a father; one who protects their daughters, and toughen their sons. Scorn their daughters about the inches missing from their skirt or the amount of make-up they put on. Testing the men that she would bring home to introduce to her father all for him to be that overbearing, over protective, strong-willed man who only wants what’s best for his “princess”.

To this day I still wonder what it would be like to know who my father was, how he lived and what he looked like. Asking my mother these things would only lead her to babble on like an idiot, to blame the very mother who raised all of her kids as to why we ‘hate’ her. The simplest gesture in towards that subject would cause her to feel paranoid and defensive.

I didn’t ask to be here but it is my right to at least know my father’s name. I fear she don’t even know what that is let alone if he is truly dead or not.

Living without a father isn’t all bad, I’m not a lost and confused juvenile, hell-bent on being the very thing my mother once was. Yea I come from a broken and dysfunctional home but instead of dwelling on that and being miserable for the rest of my life because of it, I chose to learn from their mistakes so I won’t make the same. Some would say that my grandmother was my mother and my father but I would beg to differ. She never gave me the wisdom only a man of age would know of, she didn’t have the experience [like my mother have] to know what makes a man tick or to walk out to never return. She did teach me about being a woman, she taught me about self-respect and elbow grease; how to get down on your knees to work, clean, cook and take abuse.

I honestly believe if I had a father figure in my life who gave a shit about their children, my grandmother wouldn’t have been the frustrated, abusive, neglectful old women she is. Being fatherless taught me to not be like my mother and my grandmother; my aunts and my uncles. It taught me not to have kids with someone I know I don’t like, love, or particularly care for. I taught myself to respect myself and don’t let a man abuse you in no type of way; I had to learn that on my own. I had to learn that some men are womanizer’s and only out to get one thing. I didn’t need a father to make mistakes and to learn from them.

My life is fine not knowing who my father was. I’m not going to hold my mother’s mistake over her head; I’ve come to terms with how I got here. She made the mistake 5 times.

So before you think just because I’m Black and I have neither my mother or father in my life that I’m some ghetto, uneducated, drama-driven, naïve hood-rat who watches BET and stand out in the rain for the next pair of Jordan‘s. I’m different from that and I work hard every day not to be that. I am who I am broken home or not. Some of these women out here who watched their father leave them are only acting like that because they let that affect them in such a way. The only way to get back what was taken from them is to not be that way. Not to lay down with these dead-beats just to get up and say they’re no good. Then again, what do I know?

So I would like to wish all of you out there who at least know who your father is [well at least their names] a Happy Father’s Day. Be grateful and fortunate for what you have now because in an instant it can be gone.

Never mind Lil’ Wayne…

What on earth is this?

I just realized that there are rappers out there far, far, far much worse than Lil Wayne, Gucci Mane, and Plies alike. I’m seriously hoping that this is just a parody because there is no way in hell this chick managed to get a record deal. WorldStarHipHop sure do know how to find these smuts.

I feel sorry for the fat chick, her feet has got to be hurting, the bitch can barely move in them. Not only do I feel sorry for the fat chick, I feel sorry for Matthew Hoyos which in fact needs to be shot execution style for having the gall to produce this crap.

So I’m guessing this is what Hip-Hop and Rap turned out to? I mind as well get me a record deal my damn self, seems the ‘get-rich-quick’ scheme is all in favor to anyone who feel the need to. Although I would be uncomfortable with the whole idea. I’d feel more comfortable knowing when and if I fall, it won’t be on my ass; it’ll be on a backup plan. Well whatever floats the well enough sinking mainstream media boat.

21 Realistic X-Rays and Skeletons of Fictional Characters (PICS) When creating a cartoon like Pokemon, The Simpsons or Looney Toons, it’s probably safe to say that the artists don’t think much about the cranial structure of Bugs Bunny or the internal mechanisms behind Bulbasaur‘s vine shooting when putting pen to paper. Luckily for us, there are plenty of artists out there with the talent and humor to put their knowledge of real-life anatomy to work in the world of fantasy. Below are 21 examples of real-life a … Read More
