I can’t get my world into my game! It’s so frustrating. Once I know how to do it, I’m sure I’ll be able to do it again, but I’ve tried The Sims 3 walkthroughs and tutorials and NOTHING that I’ve found shows how to get it into the game. One said that once you upload it using the launcher, it should be playable in game, but I’ve tried that. Another says to find the world file on your hard drive and double-click it. (Done that, apparently I don’t have the right program to open .world files.) Another says to open the .Sims3pack file, which I cannot find anywhere because I don’t actually believe it exists. If anyone knows how to get it into the game once it’s been exported from CAW, PLEASE SHARE!!!!!
sims 3 create a world won’t start it says “your currently installed virsion of the game is not compatible whith create-a-world. you must reinstall create-a-world. First, back up your world files and uninstall Create-a-world. then, download a new virsion of create-a-world and install the new virson.
I just downloaded CAW and it seemed to work fine but then it kept crashing so I decided to uninstall it. My problem is 1) it won’t let me uninstall it and 2) now I can’t run Sims 3 at all…
I have an issue with the game. It loaded successfully, but when I try to start it up to create a world it says Create A World has crashed due to corrupt memory? I have plenty of memory. I have no more ideas to fix this. I have tryed downloading a patch, no success there.
Can someone tell me why the CAW tool crashes when I try to save? It also crashes when I try to edit it game.
It depends on what kind of computer you’re running it on. CAW takes a lot of processes and sometimes its unstable on some computers.
Can somebody please please help me.
I have tried a few sites but have received no replies….i have downloaded at least 3 CAW tools and all have downloaded perfectly but during installation all of them freeze in the same place (riverview)….can anyone suggest a site or patch that will resolve this as i mainly bought the game to create my own words/neighborhoods. I find it confusing that EA didnt leave this function as is from the Sims 2 where you could play on pre-made landscapes and place your own lots.

What kind of computer do you have? It could be your processor.
I have a Packard Bell Pentium which runs an E5400 processor with Windows 7, only bought it bout 2 months ago.
You may need a different setup…because its possible it could be your processor.
can you recommend anything?
it wont start up and im getting real angry. ive tried it on different accounts on my computer but all it does is shows the start up/laoding thing then just closes and thats it. It wont do anything els and its pissing me off *=.=*

I’ve finally designed my world and don’t know how to make a thumbnail to export the world to the exchange. I’ve read the manual on line but it doesn’t explain how to make the thumbnail. Can you help? I can’t wait to play in my own world and to share it with others! It took us 1 week of fustration and anticipation of finishing it. Now we can’t share it or play with our creation we’ve design. Printscreen a piece of your world and then copy and paste it in paint…try and resize it first, you might have to find a program to do that.
I watched a youtube tutorial that suggested gimp.org, and that worked. I’m having problems getting it exported still, looking for a solution. Just want to play it in game!!!
I thought I was the only one having problems.
That stupid tool and the latest patch ruined my game. I can’t even create sims anymore, and sometimes my launcher won’t work. I’ve gone back to the Sims 2.
