You Can’t Tell Me A Bible Verse to Convince Me to be a Christian
That blog above is what brought on this one. I won’t lose sleep at night though because Christians are constantly being contradictive and hypocritical all in the name of their “Lord”, but this blind repetitiveness is astounding.
The fact this world run on choices; people have a choice in what to believe in. We don’t all have to believe in God. If we feel that he isn’t real, then so be it. Your beliefs mean squat to Atheists & until you Christians can understand that; you’ll always lose the argument. Give me a damn break. Has it occured to you Christians that I cannot be converted back to a Christian? Stupid people run this planet and they get their strength from ignorance and they thrive for idiocy.
I get judged and ridiculed and called an asshole on my own blog all because my views of this “God” is different. Well who fired ‘God’ and made you ‘God’? No one so why are those that’s judging me; judging me [which makes you hypocritical beyond reason]? I’ve read the Bible, I’ve sat through sermons, I’ve even gotten saved. That was only because I was still an adolescent and I didn’t have a choice to what I believed in. I was forced to go to Church. It was put in my head that I was meant to believe. I’ve done some gut thinking and no Christian will understand to why I believe this ‘God’ don’t exist. Everything people do or think they did or have prayed about and it some how came true; sorry ‘he’ didn’t do that, everything is coincidental. All these diseases and wars if ‘he’ was a God would you think ‘he’ would allow this to happen so many times for so many decades/centuries? Evolution for man I don’t believe either; all because in Genesis he ask let there be light, brought upon a garden with a woman made from a man. ‘He’ did not write this Bible. Humans did, a man did. I rather be called an asshole than to be called a hypocrite.
I cannot and will not believe in this God all because of this he said this and he said that bullshit. There is no proof that he did or did not say these things. You cannot tell me you heard him come to you in your dreams. Its a dream; your imagination is unlimited. I don’t care about what you Christians believe but you of all religious being should allow me to believe in what I believe. You’re so stuck on believing this God that you feel others should too or need to. Well I’m sorry but people have a mind of their own. I don’t need to pretend if he was real, I already did that and that was against my own will. How can this God let all these things happen? Especially with these priest molesting children and people getting killed for a couple bucks? How is that a devoted Christian when they are sinning in the very place that people think is sacred? You can’t tell me ‘he’s’ waiting for Judgment Day, no don’t tell me that.
How does scientists say we evolved from Apes/Monkeys when in the Bible Adam & Eve were human and HE created them? So I will believe a scientist before I believe this book. No ones perfect the Bible isn’t perfect. Its just a folktale book. So don’t tell me to pretend he’s real or tell me to read a Bible. I don’t need to read it I know what I believe in and I’m sticking to it. I may be giving up the fact that people who are Christians won’t allow others who are an anti-religious be themselves but I’m not giving up on what I believe in. & This ‘God’ isn’t one of those things I believe in.
So those who feel they need to give me suggestions on what to read or what I should do then you can just stop wasting your breath wait…you can stop wasting your keystrokes. Go find another Atheist whose only an Atheist because they’re gay or those that molest little boys but can still look themselves in the mirror in the morning. Being in Church is almost as dangerous as being in a Public School. You aren’t safe any where.
When something bad happens people just love thanking the “Lord” that something good came out from it. Lets thank the Lord shall we? Did you hear him say “you’re welcome”? A lot of you ‘Christians’ are hypocrites to begin with. So easily to talk about someone else but can’t even follow your own words that you’re preaching.
Replace the word ‘God’ with any other noun you can think of and tell the story to someone, they’d think you were a nut-job. I don’t think a ghost is much better. And I’ve never been the kind to just believe what I’m told; I like to question things.

It infuriates me when Christians get on their high-horse and tell me the way I feel is “wrong”. I know where they can shove their opinions and their religion…
Anytime someone tells you the way you feel is wrong it is frustrating.
To any Christians, myself as one: find out why people feel the way they do and actually invest time instead of jumping to conclusions.
There is a reason people feel the way they do and if there is anything wrong it will be found in the reason. And often the reason is the self-centeredness of other people, so stop further injecting lies and selfishness into people’s view of God.
U’ll see on ur deathbed when have no1 becuz of ur choices in da past u’ll call on his name and ask 4 4givness.

The Christian response is almost a mirror image and is likewise based outside the realm of scientific verification.

Of course, the trick is you have to find a Christian who actually cares and is not shoving verses down your throat to try and ‘convert’ you.

heyy well i guess what you are saying can makee sense in your way but truely i am a chritian and i think religion seperates us all. but really is it god we follow or is it just a custom ? well i follow god and thats the only way ? right ? but people say well the bible sounds funny its make believe. but really its all faith :] how can god show us that hes real if he just shows up when ever we need him ? people will just take advantage of him like they with jesus christ. thats where faith comes in the picture, whats religion without belief and whats belief without faith ? and whats faith without god.
i am not trying to judge anyone but just look around look at are world do you really think a big crash of chemicals can make this world around you. ? do think a bunch of chemicals can make you. just how are body works its amazing i dnt think the big bang theory can create such wonderful things. there has to be some1 that made everything here. scientist today cant even produce a clone of humans so much more nothing back then that made us ? it cant be. a greater being there had to which god. do you really think that the people that wrote the bible wasnt led by god. well the book of genesis everything written in that book is still here today isnt it ? people back then wasnt knowlegable enough to write a story about the begining of the world. but what they wrote about us still here today :}
well im trying to change u im just hopping you have a good life. its just my job to spread the word. im a 15 teen year old kid and trust me i came along way from knowing the truth. it filled the gap in my life and im sure if you consider it it can fill yours too :]
15 isn’t enough life experience to know these sort of things, sorry. All that you see around you didn’t magically pop into existence in a second – it took zillions of years to get to how it is today. That’s how natures works: slowly – and from taking things slow, you can achieve things. Different levels of complexity will require more time. As such, human cloning will happen, but not now. You’ll probably be an old person by the time it gets perfected, or possible. The Big Bang created the universe, and from this moment forth it started changing, from a simple (or crude) form, to an insanely complex one. That is the very principle of evolution, and that is why our body is so complex that not even current technology can reproduce it.
I’ll give you a simple conundrum: what does ‘Supernatural’ mean?

Lol, yeah, sorry about that. I tend to get a bit carried away sometimes. What I meant by this question is that long ago, lightning was supernatural. Now it isn’t. Science has explained what lightning is. Man cannot thrive in chaos, and religion was the answer to putting order in all this anarchy in ancient times. Religion provided ‘answers’ for the vagaries of nature, and so one thing led to another, it got blown out of proportions. To me, it’s a means to an ends. Forgive me Christians (faithfuls, more like) for saying so, but it was a reference point for order at the dawn of civilisation, but some intelligent people understood the controlling power of religion. It moved from anti-anarchy to institutionalisation. Now it’s out of control.
To make things short, logically, the Bible is a just a book, thought and written by man and man only.
Hey: I believe in God. I also know I am a huge hypocrite.
I’m sorry for what happened to you when you were younger. Life sucks.
I would encourage you to keep searching for what makes sense to you. There are some cool things on Earth – like sunsets in Hawaii and birds singing after it rains!!!!
And not all people are stupid – just most of us
