The Sims 3: Daylights Saving Time and Iceland Time Mod

What it does and doesn’t do!
These mods will change the time your game’s sun rises and sets.

You can only choose one!
For Daylight Savings Time: the sun will rise at 5:30 am and set at 9:00 pm.
For Iceland Time: the sun will rise at 3:00 am and set at 11:54 pm.

This does not change the time the game recognizes as “night” and “day.” 6am will still be considered the start of day, and 6pm will still be considered the start of night. This mod simply makes the sky show as day or night at the aforementioned times.

Before installing, be sure to backup your SkyCommon file.

How to Install
Install here: C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\GameData\Shared\NonPackaged\Ini

Move the original SkyCommon to your desktop or somewhere, then put whichever file you downloaded into the above folder.

Conflicts?
This will not conflict with any other mods, unless they replace the same file.

Why isn’t it working?!?!

There could be a couple reasons.
1) You installed it in the wrong place . Reread the directions and try again.
2) You installed a patch after you installed this mod. The patch overwrites this file, so you’ll have to re-download and install again.
