- Click the Start Menu > Run and then type ‘dxdiag‘, then click ok. [In Vista the Search box functions as Run].
- A message box will pop up asking you do you want ‘dxdiag’ to check if your drivers are digitally signed, just select yes.
- Another window will pop up. Below to your left where it says “Check for WHQL“, a blue or green bar will show while it’s gathering information. This process will take a few seconds.
- Click on the ‘Display’ tab, which is at the top of the window.
- To the left in that window where it says ‘Device’ that is the information you need.
Everest Home is also another way to find your information. Its much more thorough and very helpful.
