The Sims 3: Bypassing The Sims 3 Launcher

Here is an easy way to bypass the Sims 3 game launcher when starting the game:

1. Go to Start and select ‘My Computer’.
2. Select whatever drive Windows is on and go to ‘Program Files‘.
3. Find and click on the folder that says, ‘Electronic Arts‘.
4. Choose the game you are playing. If it’s just the base game, choose Sims 3. If you are playing an expansion pack, chose the one you are currently playing. Open the folder.
5. Select the folder that says ‘Game’ and open it.
6. Inside that folder there is a folder that is named ‘Bin’, click on that folder and open it.
7. Find the executable file.
8. Right click the .exe file and chose Send it to the desktop. In the future use that shortcut on your desktop to launch your game.

If you are playing just the base game, the .exe file will be found in program files/electronic arts/sims3/game/bin. It is named TS3.exe

Simple as that.
