Hello fellow Simmers! This is a guide/list of what’s available to do with the Athletic Skill in The Sims 3. There are Challenges and Opportunities you can complete.

Opportunities

Add It Up
Received: Phone
Goal: Gain a level in Athletic Skill
Reward: Cash Bonus [Random]
Location: Stadium
Description: The head fitness instructor thinks you can reach the next level of your athletic journey, but not without a little effort! Improve your Athletic Skill by one level and return to the stadium for a cash bonus!
The Complete Circuit
Received: Random
Goal: 30 minutes of each: TV/stereo workout, Jogging, and Swimming
Reward: Cash Bonus [Random]
Location: Stadium
Description: Your fitness instructor taught you to seek variety while training to give every muscle a chance to flex and flourish. Vary up your routine by working out with a TV or stereo, then going for a job, and finally by swimming for at least 30 minutes to earn a cash bonus
No Sweat!
Received: Random
Goal: Work out using Don’t Break a Sweat for 3 hours.
Reward: Improved Athletic Skill
Location: N/A
Description: A couple people at the gym are spreading rumors about your rather sweaty workouts. In addition to a little antiperspirant,
you should use the “Don’t Break a Sweat” option for a few hours during your next workout to improve your Athletic Skill.
Jog Everywhere
Received: Random
Goal: Jog for 1 continuous hour.
Reward: Cash
Location: Specific Sim you must talk to to complete task ["manager" of the gym].
Description: A manager at the gym has challenged you to jog 1 hour around town. The managers of the challenge are giving you a tracking device to make sure you’re actually running! Start jogging, then return the device when you’re done to earn a cash prize.

Challenges

Body Builder
Body Builders have dedicated at least 60 hours to strength workouts. This dedication pays off, because they are never fatigued after strength workouts. Also unlocks ‘Flex‘ social.
Marathon Runner
Marathon Runners must run at least 500 kilometers before they earn the title. However, accomplishing this incredible feat guarantees them a longer, healthier life.
Fitness Nut
Fitness Nuts have spent 75 hours focusing on cardio workouts. All that time experiencing the burn means they are no longer fatigued after cardio workouts.

Abilities

Level 1

  • Ability: Don’t Break A Sweat
  • Description: Your Sim can work out without stinking.
  • Ability: Jog
  • Description: You can jog to any location that your Sim would like.

Level 3

  • Ability: Good Pace
  • Description: Your Sim can work out longer without tiring yourself out.
  • Ability: Pumped
  • Description: If your Sim work out long your Sim will get pumped up.

Level 5

  • Ability: Push Yourself
  • Description: Your Sim will work longer and harder but your Sim will be sore longer.
  • Ability: Run Faster
  • Description: When you select the jog here option your Sim will run faster to that location.

Level 6

  • Ability: Train
  • Description: Your Sim can train another Sim.

Level 7

  • Ability: Quick Burst
  • Description: You Sim will work faster and will overcome with fatigue and gains experience sooner.
