hey, i just bought the SIMS 3 today!
i was so excited to get into it but my computer won’t detect the CD when i put it in.
My computer is WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION. The DVD is stuffed up i think, i don’t know!
Does anyone know why it won’t detect the CD (it’s in perfect condition without any scrathes or anything!)

ok, i am a 16 year old girl… i don’t get computers..
i have the intel 82865G Graphics controller
i installed sims 3 and i really wanna play
i own a Windows XP Home Eddition computer
can you tell me what graphic controller or chip crap i need to play the sims….
also where i could get it would be nice
Yea, I won’t be able to help you much unless you can give me more specifics than that. I can say though if its XP the game should run fine but it depends on the motherboards, graphics card, RAM [memory] and things of that nature.
i know i read this somewhere..
but i cant find it..
why do the sims look discombobulated when you change their weight
and is there a way to fix it?
finally got my game =)
At the moment the only cure for that glitch/bug is for a patch to be made for it.
i found a way to fix it
its either because i updated my driver graphics card thing

or it might have been because the game had the graphics really low at like 800×600 n i put it to the maximum.
other than that the game works fine for me
but what i do find odd is that every time im at the park.. theres a bald baby girl lol..always different name though.. but looks the same.
