Every time I play The sims 3 for about 20 minutes it stops and says “Sims 3 has encountered a problem and needs to close, we’re sorry for the inconveinence” Btw, my computer is a windows xp.

I have the same problem except mine happens to “Pets” and the normal Sims 3 and it’s not just stairs, but also trees, fences and even some roofs. It is driving me CRAZY!!!

so i am wondering if you could help. i have sims 3. i used it regualry and never had a problem, then one day it just stopped.. it will work for a little time (less than 5 mins) then just black screen and i need to restart my computer… i have read about Data Excecution Prevention and tried to do this but it has made no difference, i really wanna play my sims, i have sims 3 pets now, and i REALLY want to play that. haha if you have any ideas??

I’ve had my sims 3 game for over a year, but when I got the latest update a few months ago, I lost a bunch of actions. All the romantic options are gone apart from “Give flowers” which when clicked, doesn’t work, and a bunch of my Friendly and Mean actions are gone. Is this part of the new update, or is there something up with my game??

i just updated my sims 3 today to 1.27 patch and when i went to play it the screen goes black and then goes back to my destop and display that message “A system error has occurred” i really didnt want to lose my customs but i try the game without out them and it was the same problem i even uninstall then install the game again and still no change

Have you worked out what is wrong? I am having a problem with the same update. When it finishes installing it says an update needs to be installed and it is the same update. It constantly wants the update.

My Sims 3 is having an update problem . I’ve had it for 2 years & i’ve had problems with it through-out but i’ve eventually figured it out on my own . But this recent update is really fxcking me over & its really annoying me . Its downloading sims3.com/launcher/patches/351850303 . iThinkk it’s a two-part process because its downloaded a 6.5 MB first now this one is over 650 MB . PLEASE HELP . What do iDo to help me play my game again .

It’s so frustrating, I was playing yesterday, and suddenly one of my daughters just…disappeared. Not only that, but my Sims won’t move or do stuff unless I tell them too, even though I have it set on “High Free Will”.

hej. jeg har købt the sims 3 og jeg har alle extrapakker. jeg vil gerne downloade lidt tøj og møbler til mit smil (fra sider udover eagames). men hvordan får jeg mine downloadede ting “ind” i spillet? jeg kan ikke se dem når jeg fx bygger et hus eller laver en simmer:(
jeg kan huske fra sims 2 man skulle lave en mappe “downloads”, men er det lavet om her i sims 3?
