i love the sims but……it stopped working
(((((((( well it starts up like it regularly does than all of a sudden when its loading it goes back to my desktop and says higher expectations and error. please help!!!
I’m having the same problem. I save perfectly fine then when I download the same one, it says there is an error, please restart something like that. I hope they fix it, cause I know I have not messed with their game at all!
Every time I play The sims 3 for about 20 minutes it stops and says “Sims 3 has encountered a problem and needs to close, we’re sorry for the inconveinence” Btw, my computer is a windows xp.
so i am wondering if you could help. i have sims 3. i used it regualry and never had a problem, then one day it just stopped.. it will work for a little time (less than 5 mins) then just black screen and i need to restart my computer… i have read about Data Excecution Prevention and tried to do this but it has made no difference, i really wanna play my sims, i have sims 3 pets now, and i REALLY want to play that. haha if you have any ideas??

I’ve had my sims 3 game for over a year, but when I got the latest update a few months ago, I lost a bunch of actions. All the romantic options are gone apart from “Give flowers” which when clicked, doesn’t work, and a bunch of my Friendly and Mean actions are gone. Is this part of the new update, or is there something up with my game??
i just updated my sims 3 today to 1.27 patch and when i went to play it the screen goes black and then goes back to my destop and display that message “A system error has occurred” i really didnt want to lose my customs but i try the game without out them and it was the same problem i even uninstall then install the game again and still no change

My Sims 3 is having an update problem . I’ve had it for 2 years & i’ve had problems with it through-out but i’ve eventually figured it out on my own . But this recent update is really fxcking me over & its really annoying me . Its downloading sims3.com/launcher/patches/351850303 . iThinkk it’s a two-part process because its downloaded a 6.5 MB first now this one is over 650 MB . PLEASE HELP . What do iDo to help me play my game again .
Have you worked out what is wrong? I am having a problem with the same update. When it finishes installing it says an update needs to be installed and it is the same update. It constantly wants the update.
It’s so frustrating, I was playing yesterday, and suddenly one of my daughters just…disappeared. Not only that, but my Sims won’t move or do stuff unless I tell them too, even though I have it set on “High Free Will”.
I’m looking to start a food blog and i would like for my friends to be able to log on and comment through their facebook accounts so they don’t need to make an account on the chosen blogging site to comment. What are some FREE blogging sites that allow you to use your facebook to comment?.
how do I get my downloads “in” the game? witch map should I put the files in?

hej. jeg har købt the sims 3 og jeg har alle extrapakker. jeg vil gerne downloade lidt tøj og møbler til mit smil (fra sider udover eagames). men hvordan får jeg mine downloadede ting “ind” i spillet? jeg kan ikke se dem når jeg fx bygger et hus eller laver en simmer:(
jeg kan huske fra sims 2 man skulle lave en mappe “downloads”, men er det lavet om her i sims 3?

I start out well, the game loads and I get to play with the family I left before I saved the game. The las two times, every time I tried to change household, the game shuts down and it says that The Sims 3 doesn’t work. WHYYYYYYYYY

Help me! I just installed “World Adventures” and now the stairs are screwed up. It’s annoying the hell outta me.

I have the same problem except mine happens to “Pets” and the normal Sims 3 and it’s not just stairs, but also trees, fences and even some roofs. It is driving me CRAZY!!!
Eveerytime i want to cange my sims outsits or hair my computer shuts down or when i want to creat a new sim?? Can someone please help me with this?! Is it maybe because i hav an older laptop??

I am playing the sims 3 on a PC. its a great game, but for some reason has some kind of problem where it always freezes, the screen turns dark, and then it shuts off and wont work. this happens every time i play. sometimes i can play for a straight hour, or half hour, with nothing happening. other times it happesn after like two minutes of playing. i love the game, but it is so hard to play. im wondering if you know what could be causing this? thank you
