Let me give you a few things you can think about…
Your chances of converting an atheist to Christianity are about a million to one. Your chances are extremely slim. Why? It is the same reason why I don’t believe in Santa Claus.
Suppose someone knocked on your door some Saturday afternoon ans said, “May I introduce you to the “Church of the Holy Leprechaun”? He died for your sins while searching for a pot of gold” Sounds ridiculous doesn’t it? You would think that person had mental issues, wouldn’t you? Could you seriously believe in a religion that reeks of lies, based upon more lies?
The Bible is not proof of your God or savior’s existence. The Bible was created and written by humans, not by a god of some sort.
Terms like “Rapture”, “Holy Matrimony” and “Original Sin” are not Biblical, but coined by religious doctrine and used as their sales gimmick.
To say, “You can’t prove God doesn’t exist” is the stupidest thing anyone could say. We have not disproved the existence of leprechauns, so does that mean they must therefore exist?
Religious faith is faith in that religion’s human creators… and without it, you wouldn’t have known about your God. You believe in the doctrine more than the deity itself. Did your deity personally tell you that the Bible was his/her words?
The fact that we are Atheists does not make us immoral and are no more susceptible to go off on a killing spree than religious folks. If it takes your religious doctrine to keep you from murdering your brother, then you are a worthless being anyway.
Your religion is no more valid than any other religion, past or present. Besides…how do you know that your god is the same or different than the gods of other beliefs? What makes yours better?
Atheism is not a religion. It’s simply a disbelief in a deity. We have no set rules to live by.
Respecting your religion is an option, not a mandate! Don’t worry, it’s nothing personal. People of other religions laugh at Christianity too.

You cannot convince people of things like this. Just like you cannot help someone who don’t want to be helped; its clearly impossible. So you simple-minded, closed-minded individuals can you please go take a flying leap? I don’t bash you “Christians” for being Christians so why the hell should you bash me for being an Atheist? Or to tell me I’m closed-minded or yet that I’m being unreasonable and yet you think you know who I am when you can’t know who I am through a damn font?
People, just cause these are my beliefs does not give you the right to judge me. Isn’t that your “God’s” job? Right, y’all hypocritical idiots need a swift slap in the face. Those who are walking around saying this and that to me, you mind as well be an Atheist too cause you’re sucking at being a Christian with all of this contradicting that you’re doing. In my last blog about me being an Atheist. Not once could someone tell me if he’s real shit couldn’t tell me he wasn’t. This fool who just wouldn’t give up; his name was Justin and I know come tomorrow or wait, come today he’ll be back with more scriptures and more judgmental shit to say. Also to tell me that I’m closed-minded all because I don’t see why I should believe in this God that no one has any solid proof that he exist. If that makes me closed-minded then what does that make him? He’s a Christian and I’m an Atheist. If I’m closed-minded then so the hell is he. He’s an idiot though to keep going back and forth with me on my blog. I never understood why people gave a damn about how other people feel about this ‘God’.
Those who judge me can kick bricks. You’re no better than an old lady who sinned all week but is the loudest screaming hallelujah in the congregation.

We can all have an opinion, a way of thinking, a perspective or a concept. I respect your way of living and your logic even if I differ because I do believe in Jesus. He who loved me so much that died in the cross for my sins and resurrected on the 3rd day giving me eternal life. Does that mean I am going to force you or convince you or say that I am right and that you are wrong, that you should BELIEVE in my God because I believe in him….NO I won’t. Even God won’t force you, so why should I. God gives us free-will for us to live the way we want and to choose the path in life that we want. He doesn’t force anyone to come to Him. We have to find Him ourselves and He will only live in us when we allow Him.
I don’t believe in God and serve Him because I go to church, because a priest or a pastor told me to, or because I read the Bible or because it’s a tradition in my family. I believe in Him because when I had destroyed my life & had nothing to live for I claimed to Him and He transformed me and restored my life. I have built a personal and intimate relationship since then & from my PERSONAL experience I know that He is my Creator and Father. He has done so much in my life in so little time that in my 28 years of life I did not do & couldn’t do for myself.
We need to respect each others differences and agree to disagree. Would I like for the whole WORLD to experience and know the Lord the way I do, YES, Is that possible….NO. Why because knowing God is about a personal relationship; you can’t find God in logic, in your own understanding, in math or science, in a cereal box, you can even read the Bible from top to bottom and not find God.
Either way; God is God even if you or I believe it or not. We make the choice.
…I still can’t understand why do people of religion waste their time typing up these long drawn out comments on an Atheist’s blog. What are you going to prove posting it here?
People seriously need to stop holding their Bible group meetings on Asilee’s blog. Its getting pretty fucking redundant.
You know what, just let em, I just realized when they comment, they’re just pissed that I’m a Freethinker. They can follow that book of contradictions like they stay glued to them new Starbursts commercials. It won’t make much of a difference to me.
Seems to me they only read the title and that big black and white image anyway because that’s all their brains would allow before they go into a typing rage.
I think I’m going to renounce my faith in math because almost all of my math teachers have made mistakes on the board.
Seriously though, I think that deep down, no faith is as strong as we wish it was. I know I question my faith sometimes. I’m sure that your faith in the absence of God is not quite as strong as you want it to be. I think agnostics probably have the strongest faith. Not knowing is easier to believe than knowing.
I do agree with a lot of what you say. Most Christians do give Jesus a bad name. Jesus fought the power. Most Christians want to be the power. Jesus went into a temple and turned over the money changing tables. I would love to see someone go into a megachurch and smash their cash registers.
Christianity has become quite perverted(not like Catholic preists.) Polygamy was ok in the bible. In Genesis, it talks about God giving us ALL of the green plants for food, but some Christians think it’s a sin to enjoy my favourite green plant.

I believe in God and I am a Christian. Im sorry if I sound rude. Please dont base all Christians on the ones you have met that are stupid. Some Christians say they are Christians and go off and do horrible stuff, I agree, not all of us are like that. I dont trash Atheists because I hate when people do that to me.
